BEYOND WORDS

The documentary centers around Amanda and her family as they care for her sister Amelia, a 13-year-old with a rare degenerative condition. The project aims to create empathy for caregivers like Amanda and her family, and celebrate their everyday strength

The project required short animated sequences to illustrate 2 parts of the story:
- “Blue Episode”, where the elder sister, Amanda recounts the first time she witnessed her sister stoped breathing
- “Staring”, where Wendy, the mother of the family, talks about public stares and hurtful comments
